Welcome to the HUD home buying blog. I will detail here each step we have taken to buy this home, and each hurdle that we have had to cross, in hopes that someone else will not have to go through all the frustrations that we have faced. I found the perfect house for my family and set out to locate more information on this house. My ideal house was empty and had been so for 20 months. The house is now owned by HUD, and is posted for sale. HUD is asking more than I am willing pay, so I make an offer on the house. My offer is accepted on August 3rd and all of the paperwork is signed. August fourth more paperwork to sign because something was not filled out correctly.
